Cyfle+ is a paid work experience programme designed to support people who have faced barriers to employment to take a confident step towards work.
Whether you’re just starting out, returning to work, or need support to build experience and confidence, Cyfle+ focuses on potential — not a perfect CV.

Cyfle+ is designed for people living in Wales who may have found it difficult to access work through traditional routes, including:
- Young people aged 20–24 who are not in employment, education or training
- People aged 50+
- Disabled people
- People from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities
- People with low skills or gaps in employment
You don’t need recent work experience — and you don’t need a “perfect CV”.
If you’re motivated, willing to learn and want support to move towards work, Cyfle+ could be the right next step.

How does Cyfle+ work?
Step 1 – Apply
The application process is simple and accessible. Alternative ways to apply (such as video applications) are available.
Step 2 – Interview & support
Interviews are strengths‑based and supportive. Adjustments are available if you need them.
Step 3 – Paid placement
You’ll complete up to 200 hours of paid work experience, with mentoring and regular check‑ins.
Step 4 – What’s next
You’ll leave with real experience, stronger confidence, and clearer next steps towards employment.
